The thing i like to share in this week is the balloon art











This is something that i think is creative. Not all people can do it and i think it make our mind to think lot to create it.

week 7 - 17/03/2009

This week title is Random Words & Image Association. We need to draw something that scary based on a kitten.

Situation / Problem :
To create scary images or object that can fear people though out the ages.

Random word : Kitten

Association : The craws of kitten are sharp.



The scary kitten I created is with a pair ear that different from normal kitten. I just draw a eye for it, with a cross sign mouth and without nose. The body is something like a monster with the hand and leg and the nail is something sharp and keen.

week 6 - Share of this week...

Don't you think that so reality and cute. All of them are biscuit. It not only can be eaten but also can be decoration in the kitchen or living room.

We need to do a poem or sentences to describe the word and image that have been giving by our lecturer.

1. Love - chili



I love you as I love chili,
It a part of my life,
I can't lose it and I always need it,
Wherever I go, will bring it along,
You just like chili to me,
I love you and I always need you,
Wherever I go, will bring you so.

2. Life - car



My life, can't without car,
It make my life colorful,
Make my life wonderful,
Bring me wherever I want, wherever I need.

3. Man/woman - dustbin/garbage



Man just like dustbin,
Always at your side whenever you been,
Always listen what woman say so, keep quiet and act like Mr.Bean,
Just to make you feel happy and comfortable to be.

4. Pain - ice-cream



Make you pain when your teeth decayed,
Make you fat when you eat more,
Make you cool when the day is hot,
Ice-cream, I love you but hate you so.

5. Happiness - Time



Every time I spend with you is happiness,
Hope it will never end.

Our life just like credit card,
pay after you buy,
accept the result after you done something.

I will love you if you caring me,
I will hate you if you punch me.

week6-Juxtaposition

In this week, we have do something special. Our lecturer request us to draw the combination of animal which to show out how mergers go wrong. It can be more that 2 animals, and it must can't survive in this world.




This is the animal that i draw. A chicken head with a fish body, then the leg is duck's leg. I know it is weird, but it is what my lecturer wants.

week 5 - Share of this week

The thing i like to share of this week is Breadou product. It actually is a fake bread but if you see it from far or near, it really so reality.







The quality of the fake bread is very smooth. It can be use when your hand feel painful when put on the table. It also can be decoration in your house.

This week, lecturer have let us do something fun. first of all, he have list out about 20 words to let us choose. It have been separate into 2 columns. In front of each word, there will have a number to represent it. Those words are:

2.Lighting/lightning 9.Rain
3.Ice 8.Wood
4.Light 7.Tree
5.Fire 6.Spider

7.Dog 4.Mountain

After that, he need us write down three number that liked. The number must between 00 to 99.

The number that i choose 09,10 and 14. Finally we realize that actually those number need to separate into 2, so that we can know we have choose in column 1 and 2. My word is fly(0) rain(9), flower(1)head(0) and flower(1)mountain(4). After we done chosen, lecturer need us to make a sentence based on what we have choose and draw it out, and draw something that other can direct know what we have choose.

The sentences that i have written are:
09, fly rain = The bird fly through the sky when rain day.
10, flower head = The flower flutter to my head.
14, flower mountain = The flower be withered on the mountain.

This week, we learn about mind mapping that we usually will learn from our DF class also. I think most of us will so scare when hear this word.

And what we need to do is create a mind map that present our evil site.



This is my evil site. As you can see, there is a evil that represent me in the middle, and i have make my evil tail to link the my evil site, which is lazy, hot temper, hate, careless and emotional.

That is me actually. I'm hot temper, i can't ever wait too long time for someone or ever doing something, all thing should be done in a fast way. I'm a lazy person also. Same as many friend, we are lazy on our work and assignment, by the way, we also scare we can;t finish and get barred from MMU and can't graduate. I'm a careless person also. I will forget where the place i keep my thing and always need to by a new. Sometime i hate walking also. So i get a car license. I speed when the road is out of car, and i know it is danger also. I will so easy get injured. My mother always say that i 'didn't bring eyes while walking'.

Yup, that is about my evil site.

The thing i would like to share is the Strange Buildings of the World.

The Basket Building (Ohio, United States)

The Longaberger Basket Company building in Newark, Ohio might just be a strangest office building in the world. The 180,000-square-foot building, a replica of the company's famous market basket, cost $30 million and took two years to complete. Many experts tried to persuade Dave Longaberger to alter his plans, but he wanted an exact replica of the real thing.

Cubic Houses (Rotterdam, Netherlands)

The original idea of these cubic houses came about in the 1970s. Piet Blom has developed a couple of these cubic houses that were built in Helmond.
The city of Rotterdam asked him to design housing on top of a pedestrian bridge and he decided to use the cubic houses idea. The concept behind these houses is that he tries to create a forest by each cube representing an abstract tree; therefore the whole village becomes a forest.

Here is the image that I had done. A Microsoft logo with a lot of money as the background. The reason I do that because Bill Gate is the person who create Microsoft, and he had earn many money.

Today, we have learn something new. Other than creativity, there still have innovation, invention and novelty.

Innovation, it can be define as a creation a new device or process, resulting from study and experimentation. It mean u create something new in the mind or you introducing something new to the audience. It is just will appear in your mind. Just like a proposal, before you process your work, you must have the basic and starting idea first. Or you changing the lousy product and created a brand new product to improve it.

Invention, it mean the act of inventing. It basically is the step after innovation. After you have the idea of the product in your mind, you create the real product.

Novelty, it basically is from the word novel. It mean the originality by virtue of being new and surprising, a small inexpensive mass-product article or cheap showy jewelry or ornament on clothing. It like you created something that human normally won't created and it is acceptable from the audience. It surprising everyone.

week3-Avatar...

In this week(3), we need to do some exercises about a person's avatar.

First, we need to ask our partner 10 questions so that we can know more about he/she. Based on those questions, we need to draw a image that represent that person.

I have find my partner, Lee Mei Jin. We have come out the 10 question and our own answer. Which is :
1. What is your hobby? Sleeping.
2. How old are you? 19 years old.
3. Your hair is long or short? Long.
4. What is your horoscope? Pieces.
5. What is your height? 152cm.
6. What is your favorite color? White.
7. What is the thing you most scare? Insect.
8. What is your favorite food? Fish.
9. What is your characteristic? Helpful.
10. What is your daily transportation? Walking.

At the end, she had draw out the avatar that represent me. Which is Polar Bear. I quite like it. What she say is, Polar Bear is in white color which i most like. And it usually sleep many and like to catch fish to eat. And Polar Bear is a very helpful animal. It will help each when they in trouble. And a normal Polar Bear, when it stand up, the height is almost same with me so. And finally is Polar Bear usually walk on the ice.

week1-Introduction to Creative Studies...

Creative studies? What is my expectations from the class?

It is very easy to know what i need. As a student, the most basic in the class is the studies environment. First, it must be always in the relax and not serious mode. If not, we all will feel stress and tension when listening lecturer teacher. And lecturer should always have interaction with us like asking some question.

Then, is about the subject. Creative studies, so, it can't be studying just like normal, it should be creative. Like let us have time to do some outdoor activities, games, group work, trip and so on.

A trip that going to some factory so that we know more about the progress or the function of the factory that we may can get some knowledge from them.

Lastly, and the most important is delivering the assignment. What i expect is my lecturer will delivered it to us clearly and easy to understanding. And always showing us some references or sample so that we won't get confuse or do it in the wrong way.
